		<description>Great post Sander.

Actually it goes even deeper than this. Prompted by our need within Simal I have been working on a W3C Widget to display map data using Apache Wookie (Incubating). This code will be used in three important ways:

1) provide a widget interface to the Apache &quot;nearby people&quot; application

2) provide a widget interface to the data in Simal (when implemented)

3) be donated to the Apache Wookie (incubating) project, along with tutorial documentation on how the widget was written

So a few simple 140 character twitter comments, some time from very generous people who know how to drive DBPedia, some time from the folks in DBPedia and our own time gets multiplied across many projects.

In a time when our sector is looking for ways to increase ROI in research projects I think this is a very important and practical example of ho wit should be done in software projects.</description>
